Men’s Weekend Away 2024

The Men’s Weekend Away is an annual retreat for the men of The Lakes Church to hear God’s word specifically applied to men. This is also a unique opportunity for men to relax, have fun and deepen their friendships with other Christian men.

Camp Elim is located in Booti Booti National Park in Forster between the lake and the ocean. Accommodation is dorm-style shared rooms or camping. You won’t want to miss this weekend away, sign up today!

Cost:
$195 Full weekend (includes dorm-style accommodation and meals)
$155 Full weekend camping (includes meals)
$110 Saturday only (includes lunch/dinner, no accommodation)

    The Lakes Family Weekend

    You won’t want to miss this weekend with your church family. Our guest speaker John Woodhouse will talk on “The truth about our troubled world” (from the Book of 2 Kings). Find out more in this video from John

    The weekend includes kids programs from creche to year 9, Prayer & Paise Night, Under The Hammer auction, fellowship, food, and loads of laughs. Full program is below.

    Men’s Footy Night 2023

    Join us for an all-blokes’ NRL footy finals night. Get to know other men from The Lakes over a burger and two finals on big screens.     Youth Camp 2023

    Friday 30 June to Sunday 2 July at CRU Lake Mac Camp & Conference Centre
    Our annual Youth Camp is an awesome time for our years 7-12 youth to have fun connecting with one another and to dive deep into God’s word together. This year’s topic is ‘Being Saved by Grace.’ Encourage your teen to come along!

    Senior Youth Camp 2023

    Our Senior Youth camp is an amazing time for years 10-12 high school students to get away from the bustle and stresses of life to a beautiful campsite in Dungog. We’ll hear deep and challenging talks about being a radical disciple for Jesus; look deep into the Bible and what it says about treasuring Jesus above everything else; learn what it means to live a life of obedience even when we don’t understand what is going on in the broken world around us; connect with each other and fix our eyes on Jesus as we eat great food under the stars and enjoy God’s good creation.

    Every moment of every day we are “worshipping” something. Our Praise and Worship night is an opportunity to stop and realign our affections on a God that is worthy of our praise. Let’s gather together and encourage one another in God’s word, song and prayer. Everyone is welcome!
