Suffering & the Sovereignty of God

Scripture References: Isaiah 45:5-10, Hebrews 12:4-8

From Series: "Suffering & the Sovereignty of God"

Why does our good and loving God allow so much suffering in his world? Is he really in control of everything, even the worst of it? As we wrestle with these big questions from God's word we are encouraged to look to Christ, even in our suffering, to find the greatest confidence, deepest comfort, and sweetest fellowship we could ever know. "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
