In fact, in the majority of cases we urge you to do just that.

However, sometimes the concerns may be of a more serious nature. Especially when they involve children. It is important to to try to establish some fact or reasonable doubt without starting your own investigation.  Please report any safety concern to our Senior Pastor as soon as practicable.

Or if something needs to be done immediately- ask a staff member or Admin committee member on site.

David oversees the Growing areas of church and is the main Bible teacher in our church meetings. He also has oversight of our staff team and is responsible for ensuring our church continues to reach our goals and build Christ’s church.

David is also Secretary of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches and plays a key role facilitating church plants and providing ongoing encouragement to various churches throughout Australia.

David is married to Ruth and they have three children: Daniel, Micah and Sarah.

A few weeks ago, The Lakes church surprised Dave & Ruth Sheath by celebrating their combined 40th Birthday after church on the 2nd of August.

We all had a great time – with games for the kids, a live band and a huge roast dinner for 250 people! A big thanks goes to the Beamans for helping with the catering on the day.

Darren Box spoke for all of us in our appreciation of them.

We are thankful to God that He has blessed us with their lives and ministry!
