10th birthday celebrations
This year The Lakes turns 10 years old. On the weekend of the 15th and 16th of September we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a special dinner on Saturday night, and a special service on Sunday. We will be inviting all those who have attended and supported our church to come and join our celebrations. Please let me know if you would be eager to help organise the celebrations. Genesis Series: Kicks off 29th April
This term we will be working our way through the Abraham passages in Genesis 12 to 25. These chapters are focussed on God and his promises. God keeps his promises to Abraham in spite of threats where it seems like the promises will fail. We see God’s sovereignty over human history. We ought to respond by faith in God and his promises just as Abraham did. Last year we learnt from Genesis 1–11.
