How do I get there?

The Lakes meets each Sunday at Berkeley Vale High School, Berkeley Rd, Berkeley Vale. Get directions here and see our meeting times.

The school has off-street parking and wheelchair access from Berkeley Road. If you need further help to find us or have special needs please contact our office on 4353 0977.

c@5-25What time should I arrive?

Pick a time that best suits you as The Lakes across December and January has two services across the day: 8.30am, 10.30am, 5pm.

The 10.30 service is translated for Mandarin speakers.

We recommend arriving 5-10mins early. We’ll welcome you, show you where the bathrooms are and help you find a good seat.

What will church be like?

Church has a relaxed and friendly feel. Each gathering runs for about 1 hour  15 minutes. You’ll hear some great music and enthusiastic singing. Children join us for the beginning of our time together and are then invited to their own program in Kids Church.

The bible will be read and explained by one of our pastors, and different people will lead the church in prayer. Afterwards we enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and some morning tea together.

It’s a lot of fun, engaging and relational. You’re welcome to just come along and check it all out or participate as you feel comfortable.

You won’t be asked for money.

TLD-53How should I dress?

Some people ask this question, so here’s the answer: We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on church than what you’re wearing. In summer, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

But I’m not a Christian

Don’t worry. The Lakes is full of people from all sorts of faith traditions and non-traditions, all exploring the claims of Jesus. Church is the right place for people of all backgrounds to be!
