While Lakes Evangelical Church (including its staff and volunteers) take reasonable measures to ensure its activities are as safe as possible for participants, some of the activities engaged in nonetheless do carry a significant risk of physical harm or personal injury.

These risks may arise while in engaging in or watching an activity or in the course of travel to and from an activity. Risks may arise due to a number of factors including rough, slippery and uneven terrain, speed and impact, deep water, falling from height, equipment failure, exertion (especially if a participant has an medical condition), allergic reaction to foods or otherwise. It is possible that an injury could be life threatening or result in permanent disability.

I hereby release Lakes Evangelical Church, its officers, employees and volunteers from liability to the extent permitted by law. I acknowledge that my child participates in the activities of Lakes Evangelical Church at my/our own risk.

Advertising flyer distribution in December is another such opportunity, as we let people know about our Christmas meetings and Good News Week events. It is another opportunity to naturally introduce our church to our community.

Maps of areas for distribution and a bundle of cards and leaflets will be available at church on Sundays 6th and 13th December. We would love you to pick up a map and a bundle of cards and leaflets to enable you to letterbox drop an area before Christmas. We can even match up an area close to your home if you prefer!

When Should I Deliver?
The preferred time to for delivery is from Saturday 12th December 2009 onwards and it would be advantageous to have deliveries made before Tuesday 22nd December 2009

Please contact Russell Windon if you miss picking up deliveries at church on Sunday but would still like to participate.

The details are also placed on the password protected part of the church website and are available to members who have created for themselves a Lakes Church website account.

Some members prefer to only have limited contact details published. Just leave a note on the form specifying which details you would like published. It would help to note on the form which service you normally attend as well.

If you already have the latest 2009 directory, check whether your details are still current. You can update them by downloading a Directory Application form and place it into the collection bag on Sunday.

If you don’t have a directory, fill in the form and place it into the collection bag on Sunday.

We will have a photographer at the end of both 8.30 and 10.30 church meetings to take a current family photo. You can also hand your form to them. If that is likely to be too inconvenient, you may email the office with a landscape oriented, colour, digital photo of at least 600kB file size.
