We have something awesome planned for all you crazies in years 7-9 at high school.

We have three boats (driven by extremely experienced and responsible license holding drivers) to drag you round the lake on water biscuits with. Woooooooohooooooooo!

It’s on Sat 18th Feb. Meet at Berkeley Vale High bus bay at 9:30am. Back at 3:30pm. Bring swimmers, towel, sunscreen and anything else you thing might be useful. Cost is $12 which includes lunch. You need to RSVP to Tim by Thursday the 16th Feb (0406678293 or tandjham@gmail.com).

Bring your mates. This will be awesomeness extremeous!

Senior SALT (years 10-12 at school) Bible Study

Just a quick note to all you old crew in years 10-12 at high school.

Our Bible study group that runs from 2:30-4pm on Sunday afternoons won’t be starting until Sunday the 19th of Feb. We have made this decision due to leaders being involved in weddings and church camps. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Meet at Bateau Bay Ten Pin Bowling Centre at 7pm. get picked up from same venue at 9pm. Cost is $15.

Growth Groups 2012

Growth Groups are essential to our church. We take Jesus seriously as we study his word and learn to repent of ways that displease him and to be encouraged in ways to follow him.

A small growth group of 5-12 people is an ideal context to do this, as well as to get to know each other more personally.

The Lakes has a variety of Growth Groups including men’s groups, youth groups women’s groups daytime groups, night time groups, mixed groups, locality groups, workers groups…

We are sure to be able to make suggestions that suit your routine, but we hope you would make a Growth Group a high priority for your week.

Just contact the church office or leave a note on the welcome slip on Sunday if you would like us to help you find a Growth Group that is right for you.

PTC Romans- 20th Feb

The next seminar series at the Mears home will be studying the Moore College unit on the book of Romans. Seminars are held on Monday nights beginning the 20th February. The seminars cost $85 (less for students and pensioners).

The course is very helpful for all those who want to improve their knowledge of the scriptures, especially those who also lead small groups, teach Kid’s church or Scripture in schools.

Interested people need to enroll through Ian before the 31st January.
