When are church meetings on at The Lakes?

24th Dec- Christmas Eve, 9pm

25th Dec- Christmas Day, 9am (1 hour only)

1st Jan- New Years Day, 10.30am & 5pm

8th Jan- 9am & 5pm

15th Jan- 9am Good News Week finale & 5pm

22nd Jan- 8.30am, 10.30am, & 5pm

All meetings are at Berkeley High, Berkeley Vale Rd, Berkeley Vale.

Baptism Sunday- 22nd Jan

At 1pm on Sunday 22 January 2012, we will be conducting baptisms down at Toowoon Bay.

Baptism is a great way for new Christians to publicly repent and declare their trust in Jesus as their Saviour, Lord and God, promising to follow God for the rest of their lives.

It is also a great time for our church family to gather and celebrate this special occasion!

If you are interested in being baptised, please speak to Michael Plaege or Adam Gregory.

9am & 5pm church only- 24th July

All who can make it will be attending our annual church weekend away on the 22-24th July. But for those who can’t make it, we will be holding only a 9.00am meeting instead of our usual 8.30am and 10.30am meetings. Church@5 will meet as usual.

Due to reduced number of leaders, we will not have our normal kids church that Sunday, however, a creche room will be available if preferred. All kids are welcome to be in the main meeting with their parents.

Our Sunday morning church times are 8.30am and 10.30am. We meet at Berkeley Vale High School which is on Berkeley Rd, Berkeley Vale, NSW.

Is there wheel chair access points and toilet facilities?

Our Sunday church meetings have good wheel-chair access.

In the morning congregations disabled parking is available at the main entrance to the hall in the centre of the bus bay. There is ramp access to the hall and toilets. You are welcome to bring a walking stick, motorised scooter, wheel chair, or cushion for the plastic seat. There is a men’s or ladies wheel chair access toilet adjacent to the main hall.

At evening church there is designated disabled parking. The men’s and ladies toilets are directly behind the cafe.

How long do the church meetings go for?

The formal part of the church meeting will be about up to an hour and a half (90 min). You will get the most from church by being 5-10 minutes early, to meet new friends or catch up with old ones. The same is true if you stay later and have a cuppa. Including the formal part of the meeting, this may mean it is about 2 hours between entering and leaving the car park.
