Come along and celebrant this exciting expression of God’s grace amongst us. Meet 1:30pm at Toowoon Bay (beach carpark). Picnic lunch in the park to follow.

This is a terrific opportunity to check out Christianity for yourself in a relaxed and non-threatening environment. We’ll be reading through Luke’s Gospel together to discover who Jesus is, why he came and what relevance he is to our lives today. You can ask as many questions as you like or remain silent, it’s up to you.

We have teachers at Chittaway Bay, Berkeley Vale, Brooke Ave, Bateau Bay, The Entrance, Wyong and Yarramalong! but there are still some classes that will not be taught this year due to a shortage of teachers. If you have the ability to teach children the Bible or would be willing to be trained you may be able to help and will be well supported. You would need to be available for one hour on Wednesday or Thursday mornings during school terms. There are also opportunities for ‘backup’ teachers if you’re not able to commit every week. The following vacancies exist:

The applicant needs to be a committed Christian, attend church regularly and be prepared to commit to the Board’s objectives and Statement of Faith (a necessary occupational requirement). The successful applicant must have completed or be in the process of completing a Diploma in Theology or equivalent qualification. Preference will be given to applicants with tertiary teaching qualifications, or qualifications deemed equivalent. Experience in ministry to secondary school aged youth is desirable.
