Saturday nite carols – 6.30pm Sat 11th Dec

This Saturday night is a great opportunity to gather for family carols. James Peterson has put a great band together. Our kids will be playing the part of shepherds & angels (yrs K-2), wise men (yrs 3-4), doctors nurses etc. (preschool).

Here is a rundown of the night…

6.30pm - sausage sizzle $2, drinks $1
7.00pm – carols start
8.00pm – intermission
9.00pm – finish

It should be a great night of fun and singing for everyone! Bring your families, bring your friends. No entry fee.

Where? Berkeley Vale High School oval. We will move to the COLA or the school hall if it rains.

Come and join us for ‘Under the Hammer’ to raise money toward Good News Week Mission

Saddle up in your western duds and get on down here for a fandango full of hot auctions, a Chuckwagon grill (BBQ), barn dancing and much more!

Round up is October 29 at Berkeley Vale High School…be ready to ride out at Sundown (6.00-9.30PM)

Cost: $5.00 per couple/$10.00 per family or simply a gold coin donation (dinner provided)

The whole Salt and Salt 56 community is invited to share in the Lakes fundraiser for Good News Week. Our yearly urban mission in the second week of January. We will be at Berkeley Vale high school. There will be a BBQ and a relatively normal Salt 56 night planned.

Daylight Saving Reminder

Daylight Saving Commences this coming Sunday, 3 October 2009, at 2:00 am. That means you put your clock forward one hour and lose one hour’s sleep. Make sure you set all your clocks on Sat night and get to bed an hour earlier so you are awake and alert to hear God’s word and encourage his people on Sunday morning.

²⁴And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. ²⁵Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
