When God Speaks – Bible Study Leaders Welcome!

For all ministry leaders and Bible Study leaders, I want to invite you to come along to a day conference “When God Speaks: Preaching the Bible Today”. The conference will be on Tuesday 24th August this year at the new EV Church building in Terrigal Drive (near Erina Fair).
This is the sixth year we have run the conference. Last year we had 90 people come, representing eighteen churches on the Central Coast. The input during the day will be particularly relevant to people involved in leadership of God’s people. The day is open to church workers and lay people alike.
This year we have Steve Timmis as our keynote speaker. Steve has been married to Janet for 30 years and they live in Sheffield. They have four children and three grandchildren. Steve is the Director for Acts 29 Western Europe. He also directs The Porterbrook Network – a training initiative aimed at equipping the church for mission and church planting. Steve is an elder in The Crowded House – an international church planting network. With Tim Chester he co-authored the book Total Church.
I am running the day in partnership with Andrew Heard from Central Coast Evangelical church. The goal of this conference each year is to strengthen our confidence in God’s word as the foundation of our ministry, as we seek to build God’s people on the Central Coast.
