What has Dave been doing?

The Sheath family has spent the past 6 weeks enjoying long service leave.  A large chunk of that time we were camping in Queensland.  The highlight was spending a few nights on beautiful Lady Musgrave Island on the Great Barrier Reef.  Most of the time our family were the only people on the island!

The holiday was a terrific break.  Very refreshing.  Lovely to be able to entrust my responsibilities for church into the hands of others.  I am very thankful especially to Mike and Stewart, but also many others who carried my load while I was away.  It was also amazing to see our house looking in such great shape thanks to Rhonda and others!

Whilst we were not thinking about church too much we did continue to pray for our church family and entrust you all into God’s care.  We are now back on deck and we look forward to seeing you all very soon and enjoying fellowship with you!

    Hi David,
    Thanks again so much for conducting Mum’s service on Tuesday, we have had many favourable comments. My sister said she would like to come to Church this Sunday to hear you preach, which we are both very excited about. Are you preaching this Sunday?
