It’s on… the world game deciding who will be crowned the best in the universe! You know you have to see it on the big screen, but where?
The blokes at the Lakes are getting together at North Entrance Surf Life Saving Club from 10pm to play (non- gambling) Poker then front and centre on the big screen for Australia versus Ghana, live from midnight!
There will be no charge and will be a top night to bring a mate.
Attending church that morning will sort the men from the boys.

While the Socceroos drew 1-1 with Ghana and the result did not go our way the company in which the game was watched surely made the night (and loss of sleep) worthwhile!
A group of approx 30 men gathered for the night at north entrance surf club – a venue which was perfect for such an event (thanks Wazza/Rene). The night kicked off with 3 tables of poker. The final table was won by Pete Linnet, showing experience to be the key factor.
Then thanks to Soede and a few cups of coffee the game was up and running. The cheers and boos were plenty during the game, everyone willing to give coaching tips. unfortunatly not the win we were wanting, yet a good night overall. Thanks to all who helped set up and pack up.
I look forward to the next BOBBS gig. Not only is it great fellowship but also an oppurtunity to bring others to Christ.
