Jesus has the Answers!

The Jesus All About Life (JAAL) campaign is upon us! You would have noticed JAAL banners up around the Central Coast and beginning next Sunday 27th September prime-time TV ads will commence showing. The Bible Society has released this statement regarding the content and purpose of the ads:
‘The advert looks to change the tone of the campaign to a little more challenging and talk about some of the paradoxes of life – We chose to communicate the paradoxes of everyday life to communicate Jesus relevance in today’s community. The aim of the adverts is to get the audience to ask why these things happen and explore the answers Jesus has through the www.allaboutlife.com.au website, the current website will change on September 27th in line with the TVC going live on prime time tv, once on the website respondents will be able to order a Gospel of Mark or find out what’s on.’
How can we make the most of this campaign?
- PRAY for 3 friends over the next month, watch the TV ads and look for opportunities to speak about Jesus.
- Participate in The Lakes letterbox drop by delivering postcards in your street and surrounds advertising evangelistic Sundays 4,11,18th Oct and the start of Simply Christianity on November 1. Postcards and designated areas can be picked from church over the next 2 Sundays (19th and 27th September).
- Invite a friend, relative, neighbour or workmate to church on 4,11,18th Oct to hear a talk on ‘Jesus has the Answers’ to the paradoxes of everyday life.
- Invite a friend to explore who Jesus at our 5 week ‘Simply Christianity’ course beginning November 1.
- Check out the church website or the JAAL website (www.allaboutlife.com.au) for events to invite people to e.g ‘Sweet Celebrations’ (Oct 2nd) or Gingerbread (Nov 13, 14th)!

Your add is ironic,
It highlights all the contradictions in your crazy superstitions and anyone capable of rational thought can see it.
Why does this happen? Why does that happen? How can Jesus be so cruel, cynical and sadistic? Jesus has the answer…
Although as always your trying to scare people into falling for you ruse I’d be surprised if you don’t succeed in illustrating this insanity of submitting to an oppressive fictional character
All the best with that.
Liam,
