Jesus has Answers

In just under 2 weeks we’ll start to see visible signs of the beginning of the ‘Jesus All About Life’ (JAAL) campaign sponsored by the Bible Society. Banners will be up in the local churches (look out for ours out the front of the church office on Wyong Rd) and on advertising billboards. By the end of the month JAAL advertisements will be on prime time television and in Hoyts cinemas. The aim is that 90% of the population of NSW see a JAAL advertisement a minimum of 10 times! The name of Jesus will be out there!

The theme of the television advertisements will be ‘Jesus has Answers’, picking up on a number of life’s contradictions.  Here’s a peek at the script of the ads which begin screening 27th September and conclude on 25th October:

‘Hey Jesus, thanks for the sunshine but what about the sunburn?’

Thanks for all the little things but how come the more you have, the more you want?

We’ve got more friends but less friendship

More convenience but less patience

Bigger hopes but bigger fears

A health body still isn’t good enough

And how come the best things always have to end?

There will be a 1300 number people can call to receive a free booklet on how to become a Christian and they will also be directed to their lnearest local church supporting the campaign, as well as the JAAL website www.allaboutlife.com.
